Carol J. Truss (1957-2026) was a partner in Ansell.Law’s Commercial Real Estate and Residential Real Estate Departments. She devoted over forty years of practice to all facets of real estate law, including commercial and residential matters. Carol joined the Firm in 2022, bringing with her tremendous respect from both the Bench and the Bar.
A gifted counselor, mentor, and leader, Carol built a legacy of volunteering that endures in the greater legal community. She was a past president, active member, and trustee of the Monmouth Bar Association. Carol was also a past chair and lifetime member of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Real Property, Trust and Estate Law Section Board of Consultors.
Carol generously shared her wealth of knowledge, often speaking at CLE seminars presented by the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. In recognition of her distinguished legal career, Carol was honored with the Monmouth Bar Association’s 2024 Attorney Excellence Award in Real Estate and Land Development.
A cherished friend and colleague, Carol established a lasting influence on the Firm, her clients, and our legal community.
