A seasoned commercial litigator and bankruptcy practitioner, Anthony D’Artiglio balances aggressive advocacy with a pragmatic, diplomatic approach that facilitates favorable outcomes in the courtroom and at the negotiating table. Whether seeking to vindicate his clients’ rights, protect their interests, or put them in the best possible position to be made whole or move forward, Anthony develops strategies focused squarely on achieving his clients’ immediate and long-term goals.
As the Practice Group Leader of the firm’s Bankruptcy Law team, Anthony has extensive experience representing debtors, creditors, and other professionals in all phases of bankruptcy cases and related matters, including complex business reorganizations and workouts.
When representing a distressed or insolvent commercial debtor in Chapter 11 or Subchapter V proceedings, Anthony works collaboratively with all interested parties to find common-sense, mutually beneficial solutions that give his clients the space and time they need to emerge from bankruptcy poised for stability and success or to liquidate in a manner that minimizes fallout and liability. Anthony’s creditor-side work has consistently maximized recoveries for secured and unsecured creditors. His understanding and ability to leverage the intersecting pressures and priorities facing all stakeholders often put his clients in a more advantageous position than similarly situated parties.
Anthony’s skilled advocacy extends beyond Bankruptcy Court. As the Commercial Litigation Team Leader for the firm’s North Jersey office, he has significant experience litigating complex commercial cases, employment law matters, class actions, and other disputes in state and federal court, administrative proceedings, and other forums. He approaches each case with a holistic perspective that allows him to visualize and prepare for every subsequent phase or possible outcome of litigation. Always keeping his clients involved in strategic decisions, Anthony brings both candor and business sense to his counsel.
