AGA Counsel Pam Mulligan to Share Collections Expertise

Pamela A. Mulligan, Counsel at Ansell Grimm & Aaron, will be a featured speaker at the National Business Institute’s April 19 seminar on Advanced Collection Law at the Holiday Inn, Cherry Hill, 2175 Marlton Pike. Ms. Mulligan will be speaking about the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s (CFPB) effects on collections and staying in compliance with the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act.

Attendance at the seminar satisfies state-mandated continuing legal education requirements for New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania. The seminar runs from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. with a 1 hour lunch break at 11:45 a.m.

Peers recognize quality work of AGA Attorneys

Four AGA lawyers have been named to the 2016 New Jersey Super Lawyers list and two AGA lawyers have been named to the 2016 New Jersey Rising Stars List.*

The AGA 2016 Super Lawyers are:

  • Allison Ansell Ryan, a partner with the firm and Chair of the AGA Family Law Department, has been named as a Family Law Super Lawyer for the past decade.
  • Mitchell J. Ansell, a partner with the firm and Chair of the AGA Criminal Defense Department, has been named as a Super Lawyer in Criminal Defense for over a decade.
  • Robert A. Honecker, Jr., a partner with the firm and member of the Criminal Defense Department, has been named as a Criminal Defense Super Lawyer numerous times.
  • Mark M. Wiechnik, a partner with the firm and a member of AGA’s Community Association Practice Group, has previously been named a New Jersey Rising Star in Construction Litigation and this year has been named a Super Lawyer in the same practice area.

The AGA 2016 Rising Stars are:

  • Jay B. Feldman, an associate with the firm and a member of AGA’s Litigation and Bankruptcy Departments, has been a Rising Star in the Bankruptcy: Business practice area for two years.
  • Richard B. Linderman, a partner with the firm and a member of AGA’s Community Association Practice Group, has been named a Rising Star for the past seven years in the Real Estate practice area.

Feldman to be featured speaker at BCBA Seminar, Legal Issues Affecting Your Military Client

Jay Feldman, an attorney with Ansell, Grimm & Aaron and a member of the firm’s Litigation and Bankruptcy departments will discuss Debtor-Creditor issues and the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act at a seminar given by the Burlington County Bar Association’s Military Law Committee. Jay will be presenting with the Honorable Mark P. Tarantino, a Superior Court Judge with the Burlington County Vicinage. The seminar will take place on February 24, 2016 at the Burlington County Office Building in Mt. Holly, New Jersey at 4:30 pm.

In addition to his knowledge of legal issues that affect the military, Mr. Feldman devotes his practice to the areas of complex commercial litigation, lender liability litigation, contested foreclosure litigation, and bankruptcy litigation. This program has been approved by the Board on Continuing Legal Education of the Supreme Court of New Jersey for 2.4 hours of total CLE credit. AGA Attorney to discuss Foreclosures on 920 AM The Voice

Pam Mulligan, attorney in Ansell Grimm & Aaron’s Princeton office, will be the featured guest on 920AM, The Voice on Sunday, Nov. 1.  Ms. Mulligan will discuss  New Jersey foreclosures including a look at recent statistics, review of the New Jersey foreclosure process, the difference between commercial and residential foreclosures and avenues that banks may take other than foreclosure.

 

Largest Franchise to Franchise Purchase in Domino’s History

Jason S. Klein, Esq., a partner with the firm, represented Pizza Properties of Indianapolis, Inc., and its principal, Robert Taylor, III, in connection with the sale of 45 Domino’s stores throughout Indiana to RPM Pizza LLC, the largest U.S. Domino’s franchisee.  For Pizza Properties, headquartered in West Chester, Pennsylvania, the sale of the 45 stores in Indiana was reported to be the largest franchise-to-franchise purchase in Domino’s history. The sale included nearly 40 stores in the Indianapolis metro area, and stores serving South Bend and Lafayette. Pizza Properties continues to own and operate approximately 15Domino’s stores located throughout Pennsylvania, Maryland and Delaware.
