Stacey Patterson is counsel to the firm in the Community Association Department. She devotes her practice to the representation of cooperatives, condominiums and homeowners associations in New York and New Jersey. She provides community association groups with a full range of legal advice and services, including:
Since 2000, Stacey has represented planned communities in both litigation and government transactional matters. She has extensive experience in dealing with issues pertaining to the Nonprofit Corporations Acts, Condominium Acts and Property Acts of New York and New Jersey. She has extensive experience, as well, with New Jersey’s Planned Real Estate Development Full Disclosure Act and the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act. She has lectured on topics including collections, foreclosures and bankruptcy.
Following law school, Stacey served as law clerk to the Honorable Sheldon Franklin, J.S.C. (retired), in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County.
She is on the board of the Community Associations Institute Hudson Valley Chapter.
