Elysa Bergenfeld is a partner in the Community Association Department. She devotes her practice to the representation of condominiums and homeowners associations. She advises community association boards and property managers on matters including:
Elysa has successfully represented condominiums and homeowners associations in various litigations. She has extensive experience dealing with issues pertaining to the New Jersey Nonprofit Corporation Act, the New Jersey Condominium Act and the New Jersey Planned Real Estate Development Full Disclosure Act.
Immediately prior to joining Ansell Grimm & Aaron, Elysa was counsel at Herrick, Feinstein LLP in its Community Association Department.
Elysa currently serves on the Fox Chase Cancer Center Board of Associates. She served on the St. Francis Hospital Community Fundraising Board from 2005 through 2014 as vice president of membership, where she was involved with the planning and facilitating of fundraisers. She also served on the Children’s Home Society’s auxiliary board from 2002 through 2011, where she assisted with the planning and facilitating of fundraisers for the purpose of raising money for foster children in the community. She is a member of the New Jersey Committee on Character, for which she evaluates the fitness to practice law of each candidate for admission to the Bar of the State of New Jersey.
