Donna Maul is a partner in the Matrimonial & Family Law Department. She devotes her practice to divorce, child custody, alimony and child support litigation, and prenuptial/cohabitation agreements.
Donna has more than 30 years of experience in family law practice. In 2009, she was certified by the Supreme Court of New Jersey as a matrimonial law attorney. She was recertified in 2014 and 2019. Donna is also a certified family law mediator.
Prior to joining Ansell Grimm & Aaron as an associate, Donna was an associate with Bennett Davison & Munoz from 1985–1987, and a partner with Bennett Hayser & Maul from 1987–1989. She joined Ansell Grimm & Aaron in 1989 and became a shareholder in 1994.
Donna has chaired and moderated several public seminar offerings on family law topics on behalf of the firm. She is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Foundation Speakers Bureau. Donna authored an article titled, “Post Judgment Proceedings,” published in Family Law Practice in New Jersey (1996, Law Practice Handbooks Inc., Springfield, Illinois). She developed and prepared, as well as served as moderator and a speaker, at three public seminar offerings by the firm from 2007–2010, titled “Living Together in New Jersey: Legal Perspectives on Cohabitation Issues”; “Divorce: A Reality Check (Divorce Procedures, Legal Rights and Obligations)”; and “The Process of Divorce Mediation.”
