Alfred Caso is a partner in the Matrimonial & Family Law Department. He devotes his practice to the areas of family law, domestic violence and municipal court.
While attending law school, Al served as a student attorney of the Child and Family Advocacy Clinic and was selected as a student attorney for the Advanced Child and Family Advocacy Clinic. He was also a member of the Sports Law Mock Trial team, which placed third nationally. While in college, he was named “Top Entrepreneur,” and in 2015, he was part of the inaugural class of Fairleigh Dickinson’s Top 50 Graduates Under 50.
Prior to entering private practice, Al served as the judicial law clerk to the Honorable Leslie-Ann M. Justus, J.S.C., in the Monmouth County Superior Court, Chancery Division, Family Part for the 2013–2014 term.
Al maintains active involvement in the local and state family law community. He has been a guest lecturer on legal writing and research at Rutgers School of Law-Camden, and before the Monmouth Bar Association on various family law topics. He has served as a judge for numerous moot court competitions and previously coached the Rutgers Sports Law Mock Trial team.
In 2020 and 2021, Al was selected to the National Academy of Family Law Attorneys “Top 10 Under 40*.” He also was named a 2021 and 2022 New Jersey Super Lawyers Rising Star in the area of family law.
