Thomas J. Gironda

Thomas J. Gironda is an associate and member of the firm’s Corporate, Finance & Banking, Controlled Substances and Regulatory Law, and Commercial Real Estate Departments. Working with both public and private companies, Thomas helps his clients navigate all facets of mergers and acquisitions, entity formation, corporate governance, and complex commercial real estate transactions. He has overseen numerous large-scale transactions and adeptly navigates the complexities of due diligence, deal structuring, and post-merger integration. 

Thomas additionally provides comprehensive counsel on public offerings, private placements, and securities compliance matters, helping clients navigate the ever-evolving regulatory environment confidently. His experience includes private equity, venture capital, joint ventures, and emerging growth markets, including technology and cannabis.

Thomas earned his law degree at Wake Forest University School of Law, where he held various leadership roles, including vice president of Legal Hackers, president of the Sports and Entertainment Law Society, and president of the Environmental Law Society. Thomas also devoted multiple semesters to being a practicing clinician for both the Innocence and Justice Clinic and the Community Business Clinic, where he helped local small business owners form and manage their companies. He was a summer associate at the firm before completing his final year of law school.

Following law school, Thomas clerked for the Honorable Kathleen A. Sheedy in the Civil Division of Monmouth County Superior Court. He then began his practice with a boutique outside general counsel firm before moving to a highly-regarded AmLaw 200 regional firm as a corporate generalist prior to joining Ansell Grimm & Aaron.
