Ansell.Law is thrilled to announce that Shareholder Melanie J. Scroble was named to the NJBIZ 2026 Law Power List for the second consecutive year. The Law Power List identifies attorneys who make New Jersey a better place to live, work, and do business. Evaluated by the NJBIZ editorial staff, honorees are selected for their meaningful contributions to the advancement of the public interest through their work and community service.
Scroble is a member of the Firm’s Commercial Real Estate, Corporate, and Finance & Banking departments, and serves as the managing shareholder of the Woodland Park office. Specializing in complex commercial real estate matters, she has nearly 30 years of experience closing real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, and financing various commercial properties nationwide. Scroble focuses on shopping centers, retail pads, multi-family apartment buildings, 1031 exchange transactions, and commercial financing and lending. She has additionally developed a niche specialty, assisting clients in acquiring and leasing properties related to cannabis and controlled substances.
Valued for her ability to be a true dealmaker, clients rely on her to move matters forward efficiently, avoid getting bogged down in unnecessary detail, and consistently bring creative, solutions-oriented thinking to the table. Scroble guides clients through challenges with clarity, practicality, and a knack for finding pathways others might miss.
This latest recognition follows on the heels of being honored earlier in 2026 as an NJBIZ Leader in Law. Scroble was first named to the NJBIZ Law Power List in 2025. An attorney held in high esteem by her clients and peers, Scroble continues to receive numerous accolades. J.G. Petrucci Company, a multi-state developer and owner of commercial, industrial, and residential properties throughout the Northeast, recently honored her as “Attorney of the Year.”
