Team leader of the firm’s Labor and Employment Practice Group, Barry works with employers and employees alike to protect their interests or vindicate their rights in a wide range of matters. Barry’s employment practice encompasses not only advocating for his clients after claims arise but also providing comprehensive and proactive counsel to minimize risk and exposure and diffuse tensions before they develop into costly and disruptive litigation.

While focused on achieving his clients’ goals, Barry also sees the bigger picture. His experience representing both workers and businesses gives him a holistic perspective  that helps him to promptly identify the core issues underlying a dispute, as well as all parties’ priorities and pressure points. This, in turn, allows Barry to formulate creative and productive solutions for handling matters to his clients’ utmost satisfaction.

In addition to his employment work, Barry has extensive experience handling the full spectrum of commercial litigation matters, construction disputes, and insurance defense cases on behalf of public and private sector clients. He has extensive experience at the trial and appellate levels in state and federal courts, with multiple published decisions in cases involving novel and significant legal issues.

Barry’s litigation background significantly contributes to his representation of businesses as outside general counsel. He has also served as a municipal attorney to multiple local public entities throughout the state.

Raising his family and providing legal services in Ocean Township, Barry is committed to giving back to his community through volunteering with a wide range of local organizations and supporting local businesses.
